Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled and passionate Bartenders to join our team, which focuses on serving and uplifting our employees, customers, and community. As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional cocktail experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality cocktails, engaging with customers, and contributing to our welcoming environment that celebrates community and promotes cultural awareness.


What you’ll do: 

Mixology and Drink Preparation:

  • Skillfully craft a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks, following recipes and maintaining consistent quality.

  • Stay updated on the latest spirits and cocktail trends and industry innovations; continuously cultivating your own curiosity and knowledge.

  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of bar tools, glassware, and equipment to uphold quality standards and safety regulations.


Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of all hospitality and event activities.

  • Implement and make recommendations around operational policies, procedures, and systems to maintain high standards of service, efficiency, and profitability.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and take proactive measures to improve operational efficiency and optimize revenue.

Customer Engagement:

  • Create community in our space by sharing your joy and knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and Origin stories with our guests; inspire your fellow teammates to do the same.

  • Engage in friendly and personalized interactions, building rapport and educating customers about the unique qualities and cultural significance of the beverages offered.

  • Provide exceptional service by promptly and accurately taking and processing drink orders, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Operations and Cleanliness:

  • Support your team by taking joy in the tasks so our space runs smoothly and beautifully—these tasks may vary but can include cleaning, clearing and washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and taking out trash. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and glassware.

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of alcohol, sanitation practices, and responsible service of alcohol.


Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting, with a strong knowledge of mixology and drink preparation.

  • Knowledge of various spirits, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as the ability to make recommendations based on customer preferences.

  • Familiarity with bar equipment, tools, and sanitation practices, ensuring proper handling and maintenance.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

  • Must obtain or have a current SERVSAFE certification, including TABC and Food Handlers licenses.
